COMMON QUESTIONS

Below are answers to the most common questions from Elisabeth’s clients. If you have other questions, contact Elisabeth.

Does Elisabeth take portraits of children?
Absolutely. Elisabeth creates beach portraits of children, families, couples, and individuals. She has extensive experience taking children’s photographs. She knows how to make the portrait sitting fun and easy, so that their personalities shine through.

How far in advance should I make an appointment?
It is best to call Elisabeth as soon as your travel plans to the Forgotten Coast are in place. Elisabeth conducts only one or two portrait sittings each day, so her schedule fills up well in advance.

When and where will the portrait be shot?
Elisabeth will take your portrait on the beach, near where you are staying. This way, your portrait will capture the very place where you spent your vacation. You’ll meet with Elisabeth in the late afternoon, when the natural lighting is best for beach portraiture.

How long does the sitting take?
Sittings are casual and take about an hour. This is to ensure that the portrait will show you looking fresh and relaxed.

What should I wear for my portrait?
When you book your appointment with Elisabeth, she will consult with you on the best clothing to wear.

What happens if it rains?
Rain is rarely a problem on the Florida coast at sunset. Most rain showers occur during the heat of the early or mid afternoon. By the time your portrait sitting arrives, the rain usually will be gone. But just in case, Elisabeth always leaves room in her schedule to make up portraits that have been rained out. If you aren’t able to reschedule your sitting, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.

When will I see the results of my portrait session?
Low-resolution proofs will be sent to you by email in approximately three weeks. You’ll be able to choose from a variety of print packages and select quality frames for your prints.

How do I get the prints?
Elisabeth will ship all of your prints unframed via UPS or USPS.
